Engineering & 3D Rendering for mLK Statue in Winter Park, Florida

Description:
We provided structural engineering and 3D renderings for the “Ripple,” a life-size, bronze statue of Dr. King, surrounded by marble walls. This engineering feat ensures the statue’s structural integrity and longevity, symbolizing the strength and resilience of Dr. King’s legacy.
Our Contributions:
- 3D Rendering: Provided detailed visualizations to align the artistic and structural elements before construction.
- Structural Engineering Consulting: Developed engineering plans to ensure the statue’s structural integrity and longevity.

“Nexus: Three Rivers in Harmony” – Avondale Sculpture Project
Collaborator: Ann Moeller Studios
Description:
A kinetic public art installation embodying interconnectedness, inspired by the convergence of the Salt, Gila, and Agua Fria rivers. The sculpture interacts with natural forces like wind, featuring:
- An 8-foot aluminum ring with sculpted waves that rotate with the wind.
- A Great Blue Heron with a 5-foot wingspan that turns kinetically within the ring.
Experience the captivating rendering of “Nexus: Three Rivers in Harmony,” a kinetic public art installation designed by Ann Moeller Studios. This mesmerizing sculpture features an 8-foot aluminum ring with sculpted waves that rotate gracefully with the wind, symbolizing the convergence of the Salt, Gila, and Agua Fria rivers. The ring stands on top of a 7-ft reinforced concrete column.
Inside the rotating ring, a magnificent Great Blue Heron with a 5-foot wingspan turns kinetically, embodying the flow of life and interconnectedness of nature.
Our Contributions:
- Engineering Calculations and Analysis: Ensured safe and functional kinetic movement.
- Structural Engineering Consulting: Collaborated with Aerospace Structural Research Corp. and Ann Moeller Studios.
- Foundation Design: Engineered an 8-foot diameter concrete foundation and a 7-foot-tall steel-reinforced concrete column.

Description:
We designed and engineered a welcoming entrance monument for the Towns at Riverwalk, a community of 104 townhomes in Seminole, Florida. The monument features:
- A 7-foot-tall structure displaying the community’s name
- A substantial 14ft x 9ft foundation for enduring stability.
